To fit the family’s standard of a qualified child, it hid its inborn radiance and edges, choosing constant compromise and deliberate compliance, merely craving a little recognition and affection.It completely lost its unique and vivid self, gradually losing the ability to love and accept who it truly was. Yet when danger came, its hidden edges stood out to protect it, letting it find its own light all by itself.
